Innovative Technology Consulting LTD ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), incorporated in Mauritius, operates the Trivia Royale mobile application ("App," "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have over it.

By downloading, installing, or using Trivia Royale, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

This policy satisfies the disclosure requirements of the Apple App Store, Google Play Store Data Safety, and Huawei AppGallery review processes, as well as the GDPR and CCPA.

2. Data Safety Summary

Security: All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+. Sensitive data is encrypted at rest on our servers. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by emailing support@triviaroyalehq.com.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Guest Identity & Game Data

When you play without signing in, we generate and store a unique anonymous guest identifier on your device. We associate the following data with this identifier:

If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we collect the following information from your identity provider to create and manage your Trivia Royale account:

Signing in is entirely optional. Guest play is available without an account. The primary benefit of signing in is cross-device progress synchronisation — your scores, power-ups, and purchase history are linked to your account and restored on any device you sign in to.

3.3 In-App Purchase Data

When you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed entirely by the platform's native billing system (Apple App Store, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery). We receive a purchase receipt or token to verify and fulfil your purchase. We do not receive, store, or process your payment card details — all payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple, Google, or Huawei.

5. Google Sign-In — Specific Disclosures

Trivia Royale uses Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) to allow players to authenticate using their existing Google account. When you tap "Sign in with Google," the following occurs:

  1. You are presented with Google's standard account-picker screen. We never see your Google password.
  2. Google returns an ID token to the App. We verify this token on our server using Google's public keys.
  3. We extract your Google account ID, name, and email from the verified token and store them in our database to create or retrieve your Trivia Royale account.
  4. We issue you a session token (JWT, valid for 90 days) stored locally on your device and used for subsequent authenticated requests.

We use Google Sign-In data solely for account creation and authentication. We do not sell this data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond what is described in this policy. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Apple Sign-In — Specific Disclosures

On iOS and iPadOS, you may sign in using Sign in with Apple. When you do so:

  1. Apple authenticates you and returns a credential containing your Apple user ID and, optionally, your name and email address.
  2. You may choose to share or hide your email address. If you hide it, Apple provides a private relay address that forwards to your real email.
  3. We store your Apple user ID, display name, and email (or relay address) to create or retrieve your Trivia Royale account.

We use Apple Sign-In data solely for account creation and authentication in accordance with Apple's Sign in with Apple Usage Guidelines.

7. In-App Purchases & Billing

Trivia Royale offers consumable in-app purchases (power-ups, revivals, and bundles) processed through the following platforms:

We do not store full payment card details. Purchase receipts are verified server-side to prevent fraud and ensure accurate fulfilment. For refund requests, please contact the relevant platform's support team directly.

8. Data Storage & Security

Your game data is stored on our secure servers hosted in the European Union. We use industry-standard TLS 1.2+ encryption for all data in transit and encrypt sensitive data at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

Guest data is stored locally on your device and synced to our servers only when you have an internet connection. You can remove your local data by uninstalling the App.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we implement commercially reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Trivia Royale displays rewarded ads through Google AdMob. These ads may be personalised based on your interests and device information. You can opt out of personalised ads at any time:

Non-personalised ads will continue to appear even if you opt out of personalisation. Watching rewarded ads is always optional — you can earn or purchase power-ups without watching ads.

11. Children's Privacy

Trivia Royale is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete such information and terminate the associated account.

Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information to us should contact us immediately at support@triviaroyalehq.com.

12. Data Retention

We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you request deletion of your account, your personal data will be removed from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, financial transaction records required for tax compliance).

Anonymous guest data that has not been linked to an account may be retained in aggregated, anonymised form for analytics purposes.

13. Your Rights & Data Deletion

14. International Data Transfers

Our servers are located in the European Union. If you access the App from outside the EU, your data may be transferred to and processed in the EU. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We ensure that any such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
