Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Trivia Royale mobile application ("App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Innovative Technology Consulting LTD ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in Mauritius. These Terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the App and make in-app purchases.
3. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.
You may not:
- Modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicence, or otherwise transfer the App to any third party
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without prior written permission from the Company
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the App
- Use the App in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair the App or interfere with any other party's use of the App
4. User Accounts
You may play Trivia Royale as a guest without creating an account. To access cross-device sync and leaderboard features, you may sign in using your Google or Apple account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@triviaroyalehq.com
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You may not use another person's account without permission. The Company reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Engage in harassment, abuse, threats, or hate speech toward other players
- Use cheats, hacks, bots, scripts, or exploits to gain unfair advantages
- Manipulate leaderboard rankings through fraudulent means, including collusion or score manipulation
- Share or distribute copyrighted content without authorisation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, servers, or related systems
- Transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code
- Spam or flood the service with automated requests
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
6. In-App Purchases
6.1 Available Purchases
The App offers consumable in-app purchases including power-ups (Hints, 50/50 lifelines, Time Freezes, Revivals) and bundles. All items are consumable — they are used during gameplay and must be repurchased once depleted. No subscription is required to play the App.
6.2 Pricing & Payment
Prices for in-app purchases are displayed in the App at the time of purchase and are denominated in your local currency as determined by the applicable platform. All transactions are processed securely through the platform's native billing system:
- iOS/iPadOS: Apple App Store — governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Android (Google Play): Google Play — governed by Google Play Terms of Service.
- Android / HarmonyOS (Huawei AppGallery): Huawei IAP — governed by Huawei IAP Terms.
The Company does not store, process, or have access to your payment card details. All payment data is handled exclusively by Apple, Google, or Huawei.
6.3 Fulfilment
Purchased items are credited to your account immediately upon successful payment verification. If you experience a delay or failure in receiving purchased items, please contact us at support@triviaroyalehq.com with your transaction ID and we will investigate promptly.
6.4 No Refunds (Company Policy)
All in-app purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Virtual items (power-ups, revivals, bundles) have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection law, please contact the platform through which you made the purchase:

6.5 Price Changes
The Company reserves the right to adjust pricing for in-app purchases at any time. Price changes will be reflected in the App before any purchase is made. Your continued use of the App after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
6.6 Virtual Items
All virtual items purchased or earned in the App are licensed, not sold, to you. Virtual items have no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, and may be modified, removed, or discontinued by the Company at any time. The Company is not liable for any loss of virtual items resulting from account termination, App discontinuation, or technical issues.
7. Advertising
The App displays rewarded advertisements from third-party providers, including Google AdMob. Watching rewarded ads is always optional and provides in-game benefits (such as free revivals). By using the App, you consent to the display of ads. The Company is not responsible for the content of advertisements or any transactions with advertisers.
You may opt out of personalised advertising through your device settings as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, images, sounds, and trivia questions — are owned by the Company, its licensors, or other providers and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any content from the App without the Company's prior written permission.
9. Leaderboards & Rankings
Leaderboard rankings are based on player performance in daily challenges. The Company:
- Reserves the right to remove players who violate these Terms or engage in cheating or fraudulent activity
- May reset, adjust, or discontinue leaderboards at any time without notice
- Is not liable for any disputes regarding rankings, scores, or leaderboard positions
- May disqualify scores that appear to have been obtained through exploits or unauthorised means
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- That defects will be corrected or that the App is compatible with all devices
- That the App or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
- Damage to your device or loss of data
- Any claim arising from your use of or inability to use the App
- Loss of virtual items or in-game progress due to technical issues or App discontinuation
The Company's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 10.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, the Company's liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to:
- Your use of or access to the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Your infringement of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
13. Termination
The Company may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately and without notice if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity
- You violate the intellectual property rights of the Company or others
- The Company determines, in its sole discretion, that your conduct is harmful to other users or the App
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, and indemnification.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@triviaroyalehq.com. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Modifications to the Service
The Company reserves the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time
- Change pricing or introduce new fees with reasonable notice
- Remove, modify, or add content or features at any time
The Company shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App or any feature thereof.
15. Third-Party Services & Links
The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (including Google, Apple, and Huawei). These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The Company is not responsible for the practices of any third-party services and encourages you to review their terms and policies.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mauritius, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at support@triviaroyalehq.com. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days of receiving your notice.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, negotiations, and discussions, whether oral or written, between the parties.
